The title “Puso!” literally means “heart”. This series explores the everyday masks we Filipinos wear like happiness, sadness, confusion, indignation, anger, and despair. The fragmented colors represent the gamut of emotions we go through in a day.

The title “Puso!” literally means “heart”.This artwork is from my series Masky Pops, a word play from the Tagalog words “maski papaano” or the slang “maskipaps”, meaning to be done haphazardly or without a plan.
